A logger by trade, Chris has been mushing for two years, and made quite a start in the sport by winning the Pellson Icebox Classic 6 dog class last year. He was first introduced to mushing at age 12 by buying a dog team from a local musher and traveling all over with the dogs. Handling for Chris will be Holly and Amber. Chris' team is composed of Luck, Skruffy, Angel, Python and Noodle and the kennel is named the Rocky Flats Kennel.
UPSDA MISSION: To promote the sled dog sport, educate the public about sled dog activities, and sponsor a continuous, mid-distance sled dog race in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
