Sharon Nelson CurticeSharon was the Midnight Run Champion in 2000, and is the wife of 2002 U.P. 200 Champion/2005 Midnight Run Champion Pete Curtice. Sharon was one of the initial organizers of the U.P. 200 & Midnight Run and since those days, married Pete and both became involved in sled dog racing (very successfully). Sharon has mentored other perspective mushers and simply has a wonderful personality. She and Pete will both be competing in this year's Midnight Run. Their dogs are always slated to finish at the top of the list, barring unforeseen trail conditions or illness. Keep your eyes on her this year.
