Alex Guidice
Grand Marais, MN, USA
Alex GuidiceAlex Guidice (pronounced judicee) works as a dog driver/trainer for Amarok Kennels, owned by Greg & Robin Beall. Alex is enjoying a first year of mushing - let's see how beginner's luck holds during the Midnight Run! Alex writes: I am a complete stranger to mid-distance racing. A rookie in every sense of the word, I’ve been training dogs and trained by dogs at Amarok Kennel under the direction of Robin and Greg Beall. Originally from Mexico, I grew up in Maryland, and am now enjoying the winters of Minnesota. I landed in Grand Marais after working summers through college on the Gunflint Trail in the Boundary Waters. I’m looking forward to finishing the Midnight Run with 8 happy dogs and watching the love of my life, a little gal named Disco, step up to the plate and hold her own in lead. Best wishes to Alex and Disco!
